Well this year was a CRAZY year for us. Through the ups and down, we became even closer as a family and with the grace of GOD we all came out stronger.
I LOVE all these people with all my heart, and I wouldn’t change how close we are for anything in the world.
Yep, we might be in each other’s business a bit too much at times, but hey, at least we are always there for each other. We love each other, and there is not one thing in the world that one of us wouldn’t do for the other! That’s what family is all about. That’s what we are all about.
I had this GREAT vision on how this shoot was going to turn out. Even though no one wanted to truly be there, besides me and my mom, everyone showed up, and we manage to create something very special. It was VERY cold… kids were freezing. But the scenery was beautiful.
We kept it short and sweet… this entire shoot took about 15 minutes? Talk about in and out 🙂
A BIG GIANT THANK YOU to my dear friend Abby Hall for stepping in at the last minute to snap the shots. I had hired a photographer for this, but the roads were so bad with the ice storm, it would of been selfish of me to expect her to risk her life. Therefore since we all live close to each other, Abby offered to help. I set up the camera for her, and ran back to my spot in the cold icy snow, looking like I wasn’t out of breath 🙂 Thank you Abby for showing up and doing a fantastic job!
Thank YOU to my girl and business sidekick Barb Laue for the absolute gorgeous makeup on my mother and myself. YOU ROCK!
Enjoy these images, as most of them are going to up in my home!!
Merry Christmas!
Back in late July I entered a very dark period in my life. I was diagnosed with depression. Cool huh?? Not really. Most miserable time in my life!!! This is something I have been really open about, as I don’t see why I need to hide it. We all have struggles in life, and this was one of them. Anywho.. when I was deep in it, my father had a talk with me. He gave me this dog tag that he wears everyday that is engraved with my mother’s name. He told me to wrap it around my hand, say a prayer, and fall asleep with it every night. He said once I felt better, to give it it back to him, with a crazy dance I do sometimes to make my family laugh. So on Sunday December 8th, I was finally in a great place with everything, and decided to surprise him with my crazy dance, and give him back the necklace. So these images below are when I surprised everyone with my crazy dance!
